Reservation Times

We kindly ask that you reserve ample time for your event to account for setup, celebrations, and the time needed for cleanup, as all events must conclude by midnight.

Serving Kitchen Details

Our kitchen is complete for the caterer of your choice with a large serving window, industrial warming cabinet, icemaker, and ample counter space. While we provide garbage cans and bags, we kindly request that you bring your own cups, plates, napkins, utensils, and serving dishes. Please bring Chafing dishes with fuel canisters to keep your food hot throughout the event.

Heritage House staff are not available to serve food or beverages during your event. It is the lessee’s responsibility to ensure that someone will fulfill those duties.

Audio Visual Equipment

We kindly recommend arranging for your own audio-visual equipment and technician, unless otherwise arranged with a Heritage House coordinator.

Alcohol Policy

• For complimentary events, beer and wine are welcome without the need for an ABC permit.
• However, an appropriate ABC Permit is necessary when serving or partaking in hard liquor, fortified wine, or selling any alcoholic beverages.
• If any event involves an entry fee where alcoholic beverages are offered, the respective permit(s) must be prominently displayed.
• Whenever hard liquor is on the menu, the presence of an off-duty Iredell County Sheriff’s Department or Mooresville police officer is required. It’s the lessee’s responsibility to arrange for the officer and the necessary permit(s).

Table and Chair Coverings

We invite you to add a personal touch to your event by bringing your own table and chair covers, or your caterer can assist with providing them. As we prepare to host your special occasion, we kindly ask that you ensure the table and chair coverings are placed on the furniture before the event.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made up to 90 days before the event are entitled to a refund of the deposit and any rental fees paid.
• Cancellations made within 90 days of the event forfeit the deposit.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of the event forfeit the deposit and any rental fees paid.

Ethics Policy

We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for family-friendly events. We kindly request that all parties align with our values, and in rare cases where this may not be the case, the owner reserves the right to cancel such events.
